Evelyn Mushett-Ford was appointed Business Development Manager for CymSTAR in September 2019. In this capacity, Evelyn manages and mentors CymSTAR’s proposal development process and teams. Evelyn’s primary objective has been to develop agile, harmonious proposal teams comprising all company disciplines. She also evaluates CymSTAR’s formal Quality Management System (QMS) procedure, implements improvements, and ensures standardized, repeatable proposal operations.
Evelyn joined CymSTAR in May 2012 as a Proposal Specialist responsible for preparing all supporting and written documentation for technical proposals, past performances, articles, reports, brochures, and manuals for several uses. Her role expanded in 2014 when she was appointed Proposal Manager to lead a team of Proposal Specialists.
Through the application of proven proposal development practices over the past 10 years, Evelyn was instrumental in helping CymSTAR win and successfully execute as a prime and subcontractor on 8 USAF Training Systems Acquisition (TSA) III Task Orders with follow-on Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) awards. In addition, CymSTAR was awarded multiple other contracts for the USAF, US Army, and US Marine Corps.
Before CymSTAR, Evelyn’s cumulative career experience encompassed civil drafting, retail advertising development and sales, integration of strategic international marketing plans into successful initiatives, and multi-lingual, cross-functional team building.
Evelyn holds a Master’s Degree in Management and Public Administration, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business/eBusiness, both from the University of Phoenix in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Moreover, she recently earned a Shipley Business Winning Certificate. She is fluent in English and has professional working proficiency in German.
Evelyn, and her husband, David, enjoy taking day trips on weekends to explore Oklahoma’s and surrounding states’ obscure historic sites, legendary ghost towns, and local cuisine.
